Capilano Sushi

Yaki udon was terrible, but the sushi is pretty good... Seems fresh enough. Go in the off hours, otherwise the servers seem to ignore you.

The food here is great. Yes, it takes a bit of time so if you don't mind the wait then I think it's worth it. I have gone plenty of times and I have never been disappointed. The Mexican rolls and spicy tuna rolls are awesome!

This used to be the best sushi in neighbourhood but the quality and service is on the decline. Food is now just OK. And it’s a sad sign when tables are often not properly cleaned between customers and servers seem to be phoning it in. I wonder if it’s under new management or perhaps about to shutter its doors.

The food is always great quality, fresh and affordable. The service is excellent and everyone is friendly. Takeout is always ready on time as well!

Made an online take out order. Said 25 min but took 45 instead. Portion was not very big, as a matter of fact, ate one of the world’s tiniest nigiri (toro in the picture). Seaweed was very soggy as soon as I got it. This order cost 28$ with tax and tip. Ate in a while back and wasn’t very memorable so I thought to give it another try. Will remember this time via this review :)

Situated just down from Save-on-Foods Capilano Sushi has a reasonably priced lunch menu. Miso-soup is excellent

Most dishes are inexpensive compared to other places in North Van. Sashimi dishes seem expensive however. I will go again!

Sooooooo good we're on vacation and stopped by once and came back almost every day. Amazing sushi and they remember you and are very welcoming people! Would come back to Vancouver just for this sushi I swear to God.

Best Sushi. Seriously it is. Real wild salmon. Rice is not overcooked. Staff are super friendly. Price is amazing.

Good food, good value....

I've been getting my sushi fix at Cap for over a year now. They're a very family and community oriented place. Viva, John, Joe and the rest of the crew always go the extra mile to make me feel welcome. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Nothing fancy - just good food and good people.

This place is absolutely one of my favourite places in North Vancouver. Their lunch menu is so worth to try, and the portion is reasonable. All of staff members are friendly. One of my recommended places
